Founded in 2014 by Mary Brosnan, Snug Nursery Schools is a family-run nursery group in Berkshire, home to Storybook Montessori Ascot and Storybook Sunningdale.

Both nurseries offer a warm, nurturing environment where children aged 0–5 can thrive through high-quality childcare, Montessori-inspired learning, and plenty of free play.

We welcome visits by appointment, allowing you to see our facilities, meet staff, and observe sessions before enrolling your child. Once you have visited us, you will also receive a prospectus.

We welcome children from 6 months to 5 years old, with tailored activities for each age group to support learning, development, and social skills.
Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, with the last pick-up at 5:45 pm daily. We are closed on weekends and public bank holidays. Our nurseries are open 50 weeks of the year, closing for one week at Christmas and one week in the summer.

We offer gradual settling-in sessions, allowing children to feel comfortable with staff and routines. Parents are encouraged to stay initially until their child feels confident.
